Launched in January 2008 by Josh Pfendler, Pure Bikes is a home based bicycle rehabilitation business in Savannah, GA. It all began with a love of bikes and a growing need for quality used bikes in the Savannah area.

By taking neglected bicycles and making them road worthy, Pure Bikes has saved 100's of bikes from landfills and has also provided quality means of transportation and recreation for many. We sell bikes locally in Savannah, GA and surrounding areas and offer free pick up and delivery in the Historic District and Ardsley Park. Take a look at our blog for current projects. Mission

Pure Bikes strives to provide quality used bikes at an affordable price. We also reduce waste by diverting neglected bikes from the landfills and recycling unusable parts. No matter the condition, most bikes can become road worthy again. A bicycle can be good as new by putting a little time and work into it's rehabilitation. Pure bikes also promotes biking as an affordable, healthy and environmentally friendly way of traveling and experiencing the world.

The origin of Pure

Riding a bike is a great experience. It takes you back to your childhood while also taking you to your destination. Your daily commute becomes less of a chore and more of an adventure. Your mind can relax and you become connected to the road. Your eyes and hands work in unison. With tension and compression, your body propels forward. There is nothing so complex, yet nothing so pure.
